Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kintarou Ooe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dino Bagatin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dino Bagatin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kintarou Ooe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dino Bagatin!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ooe drops Bagatin with a big left hand and mounts him. Bagatin is in big trouble!


Bagatin is rocked!


It looks like Dino Bagatin has been cut.
Ooe throwing strikes here but Bagatin is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Bagatin is still in real trouble! Can Ooe finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ooe misses with a head shot.
Bagatin seems to have recovered his senses.
Ooe punching from mount but Bagatin doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Ooe controlling from mount.
Bagatin blocking the ground and pound.
Bagatin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ooe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ooe throws some wild stikes that Bagatin manages to avoid easily.

Ooe misses with some ground and pound and Bagatin recovers position to half guard.
Ooe thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Ooe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bagatin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ooe looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Well, if Ooe is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ooe tries to pass to full mount but Bagatin defends it.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bagatin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ooe sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bagatin defending well though.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice cross by Ooe.

Ooe clinches up with Bagatin and pushes him back against the cage.
Ooe jumps guard but Bagatin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A short uppercut from Ooe.
Ooe throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A shot in the inside from Ooe.
Ooe lands an uppercut.
Ooe misses with a hook to the ribs.
Ooe fails to pull guard.
Bagatin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bagatin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Ooe clinches up with Bagatin and pushes him back against the cage.
Bagatin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ooe fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kintarou Ooe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ooe scores with a shot to the side of Bagatin's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ooe manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ooe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ooe on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ooe tries to get out of the position.

Ooe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bagatin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ooe has Bagatin pulled in close to control his posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kintarou Ooe dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dino Bagatin's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Ooe throws a shot from downtown. Bagatin moves away and avoids it.
Ooe drops Bagatin with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bagatin! Ooe dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kintarou Ooe!
Our winner, Kintarou Ooe, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
