The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Siciliano keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Miles closes this distance looking for a takedown but Siciliano circles away.

Siciliano wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Miles, who protects the arm well.

Miles is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Siciliano pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Miles pushes Siciliano off looking to stand but Siciliano dives back in and keeps control.
Well, if Siciliano is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Miles is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Siciliano's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Siciliano's back!

Miles doesn't have the hooks in and Siciliano manages to turn into his guard.

Siciliano drops back looking for a leg! Miles is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miles manages to kick Siciliano off! Siciliano jumps back into Miles's guard.

Siciliano tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Siciliano has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Miles pushes Siciliano away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Siciliano gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Miles is trying to work for a sweep but Siciliano has mounted him!

Siciliano is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Miles can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Siciliano is landing with some decent strikes but Miles is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
