The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilju shoots in for a takedown but Dragneel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Kilju darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kilju.
Kilju lands with a shot to the body.
Kilju moves out of range of the strikes.
Dragneel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Kilju wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dragneel keeps working.

Kilju has a hand on Dragneel's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Dragneel takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Kilju is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dragneel pulls his head out easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dragneel is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Natsu Dragneel will probably get the nod.
That's time! Dragneel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kilju looks to land a right hand but Dragneel moved out of range.

and Kilju connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kilju throws a leg kick but Dragneel sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kilju dips to his left and cracks Dragneel with an uppercut!
Tuju Kilju seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Dragneel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kilju, pushing him back against the cage.

Kilju doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Dragneel tries to throw a body punch but Kilju avoids it by throwing Dragneel back against the cage.
Kilju throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kilju blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dragneel misses with the head strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kilju escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dragneel throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kilju has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dragneel finds it's way round the side to connect with Kilju's head.

Kilju takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dragneel takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Kilju throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kilju with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dragneel to score with a decent uppercut.

and Dragneel counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
