The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Laskowski misses its intended target.
Laskowski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Margera goes for a double leg but Laskowski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Laskowski continues to drive forward.
Laskowski takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Margera shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Margera throws a right hand that Laskowski ducks under and follows up with a left that Laskowski also avoids with ease.
Laskowski wants to clinch but Margera slips to the side
and Margera counters with a nice body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laskowski lands a leg kick that knocks Margera off balance momentarily.
Margera lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Borys Laskowski has been cut.
Margera's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Margera duly obliges.

and Margera counters with a thumping low kick.

Margera shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Laskowski scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Margera manages to mount him!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Laskowski can do anything to dispel that myth.
Laskowski tries to hold on but Margera pushes him away.

Laskowski is working to get back to half guard.

Margera quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Margera but it's paid off an Laskowski is forced to tap! Nice work by Margera.
