Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Xiang Liu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Reegiano Williano!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williano closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Liu to the mat! Liu manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Williano passes Liu's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Liu is looking to improve his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Williano connects with a nice short shot to Liu's temple.
Williano decides to return to a standing position.
Williano bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee asks Williano politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Williano prefers to stall for the moment though.
Williano in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Liu is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
