PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malik Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Simione (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simione is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mindscape & Jade ft. Coppa - Friday The 13th. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner throws an overhand right that lands on Simione's shoulder, as Simione tries to avoid the shot.
Turner moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Turner throws the left hand but Simione avoids the punch easily.
Simione takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Turner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Turner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Simione.
Turner is looking for a counter combo.
Turner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Turner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Simione gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simione tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Turner defends well and Simione ends up having to push Turner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

and Turner counters with a three punch combo that has Simione backing up. Simione nods at Turner to acknowledge the strikes.

Turner is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Turner's jab looks to have found its range, popping Simione under the eye.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Turner stands and steps away. Simione gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Turner lands with a nice body punch.

Turner drops his shoulder and cracks Simione with a huge uppercut! Simione goes down! Can Turner finish him?

Turner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Turner drops Simione with a straight right hand, right on the button! Turner follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
