The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bean moves into range and clinches up with Pinksy.
Pinksy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Pinksy wants to get back to striking at distance but Bean won't allow it.
Pinksy is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Bean tries to work over Pinksy's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Bean can't find room to land a body shot as Pinksy controls the action.
Bean lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Bean throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pinksy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pinksy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bean stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bean wants to clinch.
As Bean looks to move away, Pinksy throws a big counter combo but Bean just gets out of the way.
Pinksy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pinksy throws a leg kick that misses.
Pinksy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pinksy misses with a head kick.
Bean misses with a two punch combination.
Pinksy throws out a loose jab but Bean uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bean fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bean gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bean's corner calls for a 1-2. Bean obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Pinksy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bean's knee momentarily.
Bean steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pinksy. That one must have hurt.
Pinksy lands with an overhand left.

A close round but Butter Bean will probably get the nod.

Bean is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pinksy tries to bum rush Bean with a series of wild strikes but Bean uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Bean clobbers Pinksy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pinksy drops Bean with a straight right hand, right on the button! Pinksy follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
