The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aureus tries to clinch but Soni moves out of range.
A combination from Soni does no damage.
Aureus throws a sloppy head kick and Soni moves out of range easily.
Soni is looking to slow Aureus down with leg kicks.
Aureus tries to sprawl but Soni drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Soni definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Aureus looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Soni puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Aureus is pressing down on Soni's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Aureus is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Soni rolls with it to try and escape but Aureus cranks on the arm and Soni is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
