Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Voges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Kyznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voges comes into the arena with awesome god blaring out of the sound system. Jason Voges could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yuri Kyznetsov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jason Voges!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yuri Kyznetsov!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyznetsov misses with a few strikes there.
Voges misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kyznetsov clinches up against the cage.
Kyznetsov will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Voges up against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Voges tries to circle away but Kyznetsov has him pinned against the cage.

Kyznetsov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kyznetsov closes the distance and clinches.
Kyznetsov gets underhooks to prevent Voges's takedown attempt.

Kyznetsov has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Voges is trying to keep an underhook but Kyznetsov manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Kyznetsov slips a nice elbow through Voges's hands, connecting with Voges's forehead.

Kyznetsov wants to work for an arm triangle but Voges is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Voges dives in and grabs Kyznetsov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kyznetsov pushes down on Voges's head and hops out.

Yuri Kyznetsov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kyznetsov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
