Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacob Clarke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Beau Remington!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke throws a half hearted mid kick.
Remington raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Remington lands a head kick that stumbles Clarke and the fighters go to the mat.
Clarke seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Clarke looking for a sweep. Not yet Clarke, not yet.

Remington throws a sloppy head kick and Clarke moves out of range easily.

Remington has Clarke pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Clarke manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Clarke pushes off an throws an elbow but Remington leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clarke wants to get back to striking at distance but Remington won't allow it.

Remington is trying to trip Clarke. He has hold of a leg but Clarke is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Remington persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Remington has control of Clarke's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Clarke regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Clarke bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

That was a close second round but I would say that Jacob Clarke will probably get the nod.

A looping hook to the body misses from Clarke. Remington does a little dance to reset his feet.
Remington replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Clarke blocks it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Clarke is looking for a kimura but Remington is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clarke to get the leverage.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clarke in particular looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Remington tries a head kick but it misses.

Remington uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clarke.
Remington is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Clarke fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Remington checks it well.
And Remington responds with a good body kick, but Clarke manages to step out the way in time.
Remington steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Clarke. That one must have hurt.
Jacob Clarke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some bone on bone action there as Remington checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Clarke is looking to slow Remington down with leg kicks.

Remington takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
