Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matti Nypaenen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinn DeMarco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matti Nypaenen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinn DeMarco!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeMarco throws a series of punches but Nypaenen moves out of range.
Nypaenen tries for a takedown but DeMarco sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
DeMarco closes the distance and clinches.
Nypaenen is working for takedown but DeMarco is calmly controlling the position for now.
DeMarco manages to break the clinch.
Nypaenen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck DeMarco on the side of the head.
Nypaenen wants to clinch
and DeMarco counters with a nice double leg into guard.
DeMarco gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Nypaenen stuffs the takedown attempt from DeMarco. DeMarco gets slowly back to his feet.
Nypaenen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
DeMarco fails to land the takedown.
Nypaenen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DeMarco's waist but DeMarco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nypaenen off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matti Nypaenen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nypaenen tries to clinch but fails miserably
and DeMarco counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by DeMarco.
That's one minute gone in the round.
DeMarco tries to land a knee to the head but Nypaenen blocks with his arms.
DeMarco breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nypaenen fails with the takedown
and DeMarco counters with a takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nypaenen tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but DeMarco presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Nypaenen wants to hold on but DeMarco pushes him away.
DeMarco controlling his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nypaenen is looking to improve his position but DeMarco isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice elbow there by DeMarco.
Nypaenen tries to hold on but DeMarco postures up.
DeMarco scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Nypaenen?
DeMarco is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nypaenen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Nypaenen tries to lock up and control but DeMarco gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Nypaenen is rocked!
DeMarco working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Nypaenen looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by DeMarco! Submission of the night perhaps?
