The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Watanabe throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Johnson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Watanabe throws out the jab.
Watanabe closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Watanabe lands in his opponent's guard.

In his post fight interview, Tadashi Watanabe started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
