Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Issac Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shelton Petersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Issac Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shelton Petersen!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost is looking to clinch.

Petersen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Frost to the ground. Petersen is now in Frost's guard.
Petersen throws a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frost has his hands on Petersen's head, controlling the position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Petersen has eaten all the pies!
Frost looking to hit a scissor sweep but Petersen is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frost is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Petersen is controlling him.
Frost will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Frost wants to sweep but no luck.

Frost controls Petersen momentarily but Petersen frees himself.
Frost trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Frost tries to clinch up but Petersen circles away and keeps his distance.
Petersen throws a fast counter high kick but Frost manages to duck under it in time.

Petersen looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Petersen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Frost's head.
Frost avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Petersen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Frost has a closed guard, preventing Petersen from standing up.

Frost wants to improve his position but instead Petersen has moved into half guard.

Petersen is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Frost still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Frost has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Frost in side control lands a decent elbow.

Frost is really struggling to control Petersen but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Petersen manages to work his way to half guard, despite Frost's best efforts.
Frost not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Frost wants to pass to mount but Petersen is defending the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Petersen wants to improve his position but Frost is controlling well.
Petersen trying to hold on to Frost's head to control him but Frost postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petersen regains full guard. Nicely done.
Petersen wants to stand but Frost is controlling the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Petersen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shelton Petersen dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Frost throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Petersen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Frost is in Petersen's guard.

Petersen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Frost trying to control the position from guard on top but Petersen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Frost decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Petersen, up you get!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frost closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Petersen's guard.

Petersen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Frost trying to control the position from guard on top but Petersen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Petersen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Frost is trying to maintain the position but Petersen is very close to passing his half guard.
Frost makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Frost.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Frost has momentary wrist control but Petersen slips an elbow through the middle.

Petersen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Petersen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Frost working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Petersen.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Petersen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Frost has an active guard here but Petersen has managed to pass into half guard.
Frost throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Frost is looking to control Petersen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Frost avoid being mounted?

Petersen decides to stand and escape the position.
Frost is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Petersen gets a double leg takedown into Frost's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Petersen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Frost wants to control the position but Petersen says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Petersen working over Frost with some ground and pound. Frost looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Frost has his hands clasped together around Petersen's back. He's all about the action.

Petersen seems to be working for a kimura but Frost defends the submission attempt.
Frost is looking to control Petersen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Frost avoid being mounted?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Petersen has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Frost defend it? Petersen steps over the head and cranks it - Frost is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Petersen!
