Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murray forces Akbar back against the cage and clinches.
Murray drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Akbar gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Murray pulls guard.
Murray throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Akbar looking to sit in guard and control but Murray gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Murray wants to pass the guard but Akbar is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murray seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Akbar is working an open guard so Murray takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Murray has managed to clinch.
Murray wants a takedown but no success here.
Murray jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Akbar walks away with a smile on his face. Murray gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Allahu Akbar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Murray.
Murray closes this distance looking for a takedown but Akbar circles away.
Akbar moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Murray jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Akbar walks away with a smile on his face. Murray gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Akbar counters with a nice uppercut.
Akbar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Murray throws out the jab.
Murray takes a swing at Akbar's ribcage but misses.
Akbar drops down looking for a counter takedown but Murray sprawls and moves away.
Murray misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
It looked like Akbar wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Murray has a takedown stuffed.
Akbar scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Akbar lands with a good body shot.
Akbar seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Akbar scores with the left hand. Murray knows he should have avoided that one.
Murray on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Murray gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Akbar lands with a hook. Murray tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Murray looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Akbar counters with a lovely shot to the body.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Murray fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Murray scores with a shoulder strike.
Akbar wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Murray slows down the pace here.

Murray tries to land a knee to the head but Akbar blocks with his arms.

Murray takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Akbar digs a good body shot into Murray's ribs.

Akbar leaves Murray with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Akbar feinted with a counter takedown.

Murray gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Murray tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Akbar smiles and moves away.

Murray is breathing heavily.
Akbar lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Murray backs up against the cage.
Akbar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Murray is rocked!
George Murray is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Murray shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Akbar as he jumps to the side.
Murray is still on wobbly legs! Can Akbar finish him?
Akbar flashes Murray a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Murray's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Murray crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Akbar punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
