Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Haven Baez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Woowa Owraa!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Owraa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Baez feints and as Owraa raises his hands in defense, Baez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Owraa kicks Baez off and gets to his feet.
Baez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baez shoots and misses
and Owraa counters with a two punch combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Haven Baez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Baez closes the distance looking to clinch
and Owraa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Baez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Owraa avoids it really well and circles away.
Despite the aggression on Owraa's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Baez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Owraa counters with a one-two to the body.

Owraa jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Baez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Owraa defends it nicely.

and Owraa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Baez tries for a takedown but Owraa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Owraa is looking for the big counter here.
Owraa circles away from the clinch attempt
and Owraa counters with a series of strikes. Baez will be more careful next time no doubt.
Owraa throws a head kick but Baez moves out of range.
Baez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Owraa defends well and Baez ends up having to push Owraa into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Baez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Owraa but Owraa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Baez is breathing heavily.

Baez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Owraa is fending him off so far but Baez persists. Nope, Owraa circles away and we're back to standing.
Owraa wants to counter the offense by Baez and move into the clinch position.
Sloppy strikes from Owraa. Those never looked like landing.
Owraa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Baez has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Woowa Owraa seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Baez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oh Baez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baez closes the distance but Owraa moves to the side
and Owraa counters with a crisp right that sends Baez to the canvas! Owraa follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
