The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hosdera moves into the clinch.
Hosdera is working for takedown but Wise is calmly controlling the position for now.

Hosdera jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wise walks away with a smile on his face. Hosdera gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hosdera changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wise looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wise bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Hosdera misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wise fails with a takedown attempt.
Hosdera takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Wise closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hosdera to the mat! Hosdera manages to get full guard.

Hosdera manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
