The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minasian defending well as Zeller loads up on a big left hand.
Minasian looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Minasian lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Cody Zeller has been cut.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Minasian lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zeller has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zeller and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Minasian throws a hook but Zeller blocks it.

and Minasian counters with a nice low kick that buckles Zeller's knee momentarily.

Zeller connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Zeller throws a wild body kick that Minasian sees coming a mile off.
Minasian throws a fast counter high kick but Zeller manages to duck under it in time.
Zeller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Minasian.
Zeller fails with an attempt to clinch.
Minasian avoids the head kick by Zeller.
As Zeller backs off Minasian throws a huge counter combo but Zeller manages to avoid it all.
Minasian throws a low kick but Zeller avoids it.
Minasian thows a left - swing and a miss!
Zeller dodges the punch combination from Minasian.
Minasian avoids a kick to the body.

Zeller cracks Minasian with a good jab.
Zeller takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Zeller ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Minasian throws a jab when Zeller was well out of range.
Zeller dips to his left and cracks Minasian with an uppercut!

It looks like Arthur Minasian has been cut.
Zeller lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Zeller throws a hook but Minasian avoids it easily.
Minasian is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Minasian connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Zeller throws the kick towards the body but Minasian avoids it.
Minasian is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Zeller is looking to land body kicks.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zeller.
Zeller's corner calls for a 1-2. Zeller obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

letting Minasian counter with a right hand.
Minasian keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zeller.

A combination from Zeller does no damage.

Crunch! Zeller slams his shin into Minasian's torso.
Minasian looks to land a left hand but Zeller moved out of range nicely.
Minasian throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Minasian throws a shot to the body.

Zeller fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Minasian to the ground. Zeller is now in Minasian's guard.
Zeller wants to control from the top but Minasian keeps moving.
Zeller has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Zeller content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Zeller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Minasian is not content to let Zeller control the position.

Minasian is looking to reverse the position.
Zeller is looking to take a break and control but Minasian is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Zeller content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Minasian is trying to get back to half guard.
Minasian is not content to let Zeller control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Cody Zeller will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

A big left from Zeller misses.
Zeller looks to land a body kick but Minasian moved away.
Minasian ducks under a wild hook from Zeller.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Minasian! But no joy.
Minasian lands an overhand right.
Minasian fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Zeller.

Oooh a lovely combination from Zeller sends Minasian down but not out. Zeller dives into side control looking to finish.

Minasian is rocked!
Zeller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Minasian can do to turn this around?

Zeller lands a huge shot from side control! Minasian is out cold! This one is all over!
