Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tester McTester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Timmy Sims has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sims looking to score a takedown here. McTester is defending well but Sims drives through and ends up in McTester's guard.

McTester is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sims defends well.

McTester escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sims gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McTester preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

McTester seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
McTester wants to sweep here but Sims controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sims missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
McTester is looking to stand up but Sims isn't so interested in that idea.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Sims wants to stand but McTester has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Sims could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sims blocks the body kick.
McTester tries for a takedown but Sims circles away easily
and Sims counters with a two punch combo.
Sims tries to bum rush McTester with a series of wild strikes but McTester uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

McTester drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Sims wants to sweep but no luck.
Sims is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McTester slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McTester controls the position from side control.

McTester takes a little break here. Sims wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tester McTester dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McTester has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sims drops down looking for an ankle pick but McTester pulls his leg out and moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from McTester. Sims does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sims is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from McTester.

McTester has Sims pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sims manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Sims wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

McTester jumps guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as McTester holds on and takes a little breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McTester wants to sweep but no luck.
McTester wants to stand up but Sims is controlling him.
McTester is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McTester connects with a nice short shot to Sims's temple.
McTester is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

It looks like Timmy Sims has been cut.
McTester prevents Sims from getting the reversal.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McTester is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sims is surviving well by controlling McTester's body position as best he can.

McTester pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Sims is rocked!
McTester looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Sims covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
