The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White has managed to clinch.
Macarenco wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
White manages to break the clinch.
Macarenco showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from White.
White uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Macarenco.
White ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
White misses with a double jab.
Macarenco misses with a hook. White ducked under it nicely.
White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Macarenco.
Rubiao Macarenco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White throws a wild body kick that Macarenco sees coming a mile off.
Macarenco fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White manages to avoid it.

Macarenco swings for the body but White moves out of range.

White closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macarenco wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but White has him pressed against the cage.

White breaks the clinch.

White throws a left that rocks Macarenco and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! White dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Macarenco regain composure!

Macarenco looks gassed!
White scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Macarenco is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and White can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
