These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scorpion throws a shot from downtown. Borschev moves away and avoids it.
Borschev jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Borschev misses with a right hand
enabling Scorpion to counter with a crisp jab.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Borschev - that will leave a mark!
Borschev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Borschev lets loose with a powerful body kick. Scorpion will feel that in the morning.
Scorpion has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Borschev.
Borschev seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Borschev connects with a crisp jab.
Scorpion takes one on the button.
It looks like Ranky Scorpion has been cut.
A head kick misses from Borschev.
Scorpion on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Borschev. Borschev obviously looking to wear him down.
Scorpion bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Borschev misses with a double jab
and Scorpion connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Scorpion has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Borschev throws a leg kick but Scorpion moved away.
Borschev takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Borschev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Borschev circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Scorpion drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Borschev follows Scorpion to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dmitry Borschev!
