Hitscock has chosen My Drinking Problem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alfred Hitscock has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jericho Hill's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitscock lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hill misses with a low kick as Hitscock jumps back.
Hitscock misses with a straight left.
A counter left hand to the body from Hill misses its target.
Hitscock connects with the punch.
Hill throws a right hand that misses
and Hitscock counters with a stiff right hand.
Jericho Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hitscock moves out of range of the strikes.
Hill on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hill has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hitscock takes a jab right on the kisser.

and Hill makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hitscock really felt that one!
Hill with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hitscock to score with a decent uppercut.
Hill doesn't manage to clinch there - Hitscock circles away.
Hill misses with a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hill missing with a left hand there. Hitscock was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hill loads up on a big right hand but Hitscock slips the punch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hill looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hill lands a glancing blow to the side of Hitscock's head.

Hitscock looks to land a right hand but Hill moved out of range.
Hill throws a leg kick
and Hitscock counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Hitscock connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hill. Hill circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hill finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Hill gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hitscock lands a left hand.
Hitscock lands a hook that snaps the head of Hill backwards.

Hitscock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hill clobbers Hitscock with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hitscock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hill was well out of range. Poor timing from Hitscock.
An attempted straight right counter from Hill misses the target.
Hitscock ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
