The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from King misses.
A quick step to the side and De La Hoya tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
King swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and De La Hoya counters with an outside leg kick.
King misses with an attempted mid kick.
De La Hoya is looking to counter with a body kick.
King fails with the takedown
and De La Hoya counters with a straight right hand.
King fails to land the takedown.
De La Hoya is looking to counter punch.
De La Hoya walks into a left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King falls off balance throwing a combination

and King takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
King misses with a wild combination.
It looked like De La Hoya wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
King tries for a takedown but De La Hoya circles away easily
and De La Hoya counters with a nice right hand that sends King toppling to the canvas! King scrambles and gets back to his feet - can De La Hoya finish him?!
King is rocked!
It looks like George King has been cut.
Jose De La Hoya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George King.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and De La Hoya counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
