Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Moonra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giordano Bruno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moonra comes to the cage accompanied by Boombastic. Bruno has chosen Preliator as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moonra misses with a body shot.
Bruno throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Moonra misses with a straight right.
Moonra on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bruno. Bruno obviously looking to wear him down.
Bruno dips to his left and cracks Moonra with an uppercut!
Bruno misses with a low kick.

Bruno uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bruno throws a head kick but Moonra moves out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Moonra is pushing Bruno up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Moonra is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bruno is defending well.
I was talking to Moonra's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Bruno is looking to control Moonra's arms but Moonra gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bruno has his back to the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Bruno fails to land.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Moonra.
Bruno works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Bruno is pressed up against the cage. Moonra has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bruno down to the mat. Bruno avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Moonra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bruno paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bruno unleashes a big counter combination but Moonra bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Bruno scores with a leg kick.
Moonra throws an overhand right that drops Bruno like a sack of potatoes! Moonra dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
