The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SouthCutt misses with a head kick.
Gordon tries to counter with a takedown but SouthCutt is quick to defend against it.
SouthCutt thuds his shin into the meat of Gordon's side.

Gordon feints and as SouthCutt raises his hands in defense, Gordon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gordon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and SouthCutt defends well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gordon is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but SouthCutt frees his head nicely. Oh but Gordon has switched to an armbar! SouthCutt is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
