Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaq Auguste!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvario keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Alvario looks for a takedown but Auguste sprawls well.
Auguste throws a head kick that misses

and Alvario counters with a single leg into guard. Auguste didn't expect that.
Auguste can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Alvario controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alvario content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Auguste wriggles free and stands up.
Auguste bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A combination from Auguste does no damage.
Alvario tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Auguste looks to clinch

and Alvario counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Alvario.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Alvario postures up in Auguste's guard and throws a big left but Auguste blocks it.
Alvario lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Alvario throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Auguste works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Alvario cracks Auguste with a solid left hand.

Auguste working for a triangle but Alvario defends it easily.
Alvario stays in close to Auguste's body and controls the position.
Alvario lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Auguste preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alvario accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Alvario drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Alvario as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Auguste screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Alvario! Nice submission victory there!
