Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Tokoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan McKay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tokoro's entrance music is Boomtastic. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokoro with a lazy takedown attempt
and Tokoro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Hideo Tokoro has been cut.
McKay throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tokoro slips under a jab.
A cross from McKay lands.
Tokoro connects with a looping right hand.
Tokoro doesn't manage to clinch there - McKay circles away.

and McKay counters with a lovely straight right hand!

McKay gets caught flat footed, as Tokoro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tokoro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McKay swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tokoro drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McKay dives on top into guard.

McKay is looking to stand up but Tokoro won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tokoro swings for the body but McKay moves out of range.
Tokoro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McKay paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A little jabbing left from McKay on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
McKay lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
McKay bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tokoro's head.
McKay throws a body shot but no joy.
Tokoro is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Tokoro tries to close the distance and clinch but McKay swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McKay fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tokoro looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tokoro misses with an uppercut. McKay saw that one coming.
McKay keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
McKay's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tokoro connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McKay scrambles back to his feet.

McKay throws the left hand but Tokoro avoids the punch easily.
McKay digs a good body shot into Tokoro's ribs.

Horrible takedown attempt by Tokoro or perhaps it was just good defense by McKay, which made it look bad.

and McKay counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tokoro attempts a counter takedown but McKay avoids it well and moves away.

and McKay counters with a good low kick that Tokoro was not able to check.

McKay fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tokoro.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and McKay makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McKay swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tokoro.
Oh Tokoro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Hideo Tokoro's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
McKay has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Tokoro walks straight into a right hand from McKay - that's dropped him! McKay jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tokoro from any more punishment! Tokoro complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
