The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez fails with the takedown
and McConor counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
McConor changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

McConor clinches up against the cage.
Gonzalez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
McConor is trying to break the clinch but Gonzalez has him pressed against the cage.

McConor tries to circle away but Gonzalez has him pinned against the cage.
McConor scores with an uppercut up the middle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McConor has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gonzalez is trying to keep an underhook but McConor manages to get the takedown into half guard.

McConor shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gonzalez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
