The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz gets caught flat footed, as Garrison shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Garrison slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Garrison thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Garrison drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Diaz dives on top into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diaz wants to control the pace but Garrison is squirming around nicely.

Diaz is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Garrison has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Garrison!

Garrison has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Diaz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
