The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felipe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Abner Felipe has been cut.
Felipe cracks Thorsen with a good jab.
Thorsen works the jab nicely.
Thorsen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Felipe sprawling to the canvas! Felipe rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thorsen finish him?!
Felipe is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thorsen measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Felipe! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
