Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sherman Haney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ston Hardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardson drives through and clinches with Haney against the cage.

Hardson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Haney shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hardson is trying to defend but Haney finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Hardson kicks Haney off and gets back to his feet.
Hardson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Haney.
Hardson looks to land a combination but Haney avoids it well.
Haney attempts a counter takedown but Hardson avoids it well and moves away.

Hardson has closed the distance and engaged Haney in a clinch.
Hardson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Haney backwards.
Hardson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Hardson moves into range and clinches up with Haney.

Hardson has hold of one of Haney's legs. Haney is fighting the takedown attempt but Hardson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Haney is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Haney in particular looking to stall.

Haney wants to take a breather but Hardson is having none of it.

Haney winds up and cracks Hardson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Haney decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Haney gets tackled into the cage by Hardson. Hardson maintains the clinch.
Hardson lands with a short shot to the head.

Haney is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hardson can't fight it off and eventually Haney manages to take the fight to the floor. Hardson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Haney shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hardson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Haney seems keen to control Hardson's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hardson distracts Haney with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Haney has control of Hardson's left arm, preventing Hardson from doing any damage.
Haney doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Hardson wants to control from the top but Haney keeps moving.
Hardson works over Haney with some ground and pound from guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Haney holds on and takes a little breather.
Haney is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ston Hardson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hardson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hardson connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Sherman Haney has been cut.
Haney get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Haney stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Hardson runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
