Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ahura Mazda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanalya Kashka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sanalya Kashka!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazda throws a half hearted mid kick.

Mazda gets caught napping as Kashka dives in and scores a takedown. Mazda manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mazda controls Kashka momentarily but Kashka frees himself.
Mazda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mazda avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Mazda wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mazda manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kashka manages to get himself to full guard.

Kashka preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Kashka looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Mazda throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kashka works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mazda lands a couple of digs.
Mazda lands a couple of elbows.
Mazda stands up over Kashka, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kashka looks winded!

Kashka is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mazda defends well.
Mazda working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kashka's head.
Mazda wants to control from the top but Kashka keeps moving.
Kashka is trying to keep Mazda in close.
Mazda landing some decent shots from guard.

Mazda trying to control the position from guard on top but Kashka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mazda pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kashka is keeping the position for now.
Mazda is in close to Kashka's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Mazda is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Mazda passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kashka takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Mazda lands a few punches from side control.
Mazda wants to control but Kashka is keeping him busy.
Mazda is really struggling to control Kashka but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Mazda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mazda wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kashka keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ahura Mazda dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Nice defenses there by Kashka.
Kashka tries to counter by closing the distance.
Mazda finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sanalya Kashka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kashka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kashka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mazda is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kashka's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Kashka is trying to control. Mazda wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Mazda wants to control position but Kashka is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Mazda here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
