Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bottoms misses with an uppercut.
Bottoms waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Gracie.
Bottoms drops Gracie with a left right combo! Bottoms follows him down to the ground into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bottoms working the ground and pound.
Gracie is rocked!
Gracie throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Gracie is still in real trouble! Can Bottoms finish him?
Gracie is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Gracie is trying to get back to full guard.
Gracie seems to have recovered his senses.
Bottoms working over Gracie with some ground and pound. Gracie looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Bottoms lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Gracie wants to improve his position but Bottoms is controlling well.
Bottoms working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Bottoms wants to free his trapped foot but Gracie is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Gracie is looking for a sweep. Bottoms is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bottoms looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gracie with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Gracie misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Gracie tries to get to full guard but Bottoms has control of the leg.
Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Bottoms uses his free foot to push down on Gracie's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gracie.
