The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Newmark loads up on a big right hand but Bomb slips the punch.

Bobby Newmark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Newmark swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bomb uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Newmark has time to react.
Bomb throws a shot from downtown. Newmark moves away and avoids it.

The fighters circle momentarily. Newmark darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Newmark tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bomb manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It seemed like Bomb was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Newmark lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Bomb falls backwards - clearly groggy! Newmark dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

A relieved looking Bobby Newmark thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
