The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dai looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mountain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dai moves away.
Dai is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dai tries to clinch up.
Mountain pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dai wants to clinch up but Mountain keeps it at a distance.
Dai misses with a body shot.
The fighters circling - Mountain throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
No joy there for Mountain, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mountain cracks Dai with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mountain has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dai to stand back up!

It looks like Akio Dai has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dai tries to close the distance and clinch but Mountain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mountain drops his shoulder and cracks Dai with a huge uppercut! Dai goes down! Can Mountain finish him?

Dai is rocked!
Dai is looking to stand up but Mountain isn't so interested in that idea.
Oh Dai is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dai seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dai will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Dai wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dai is looking to sweep but instead, Mountain has passed into half guard.
Mountain is taking a breather. Dai says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mountain dances in with a quick combination. Dai is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Mountain snaps Dai's head back. Dai stumbles backwards against the cage. Mountain steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Dai's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Dai just didn't come prepared.
