Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Horacio Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heath Herring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Horacio Santos has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Horacio Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Heath Herring!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herring doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Santos counter with a right hand.
Herring shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santos as he avoids it easily.
Santos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Herrings jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Herring throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Santos was covering up waiting for the punch and Herring finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Santos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Herring in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Herring sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Santos's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Heath Herring decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
