The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a double jab.
Chille misses the shot to the body.
Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Chille misses with a few strikes there.
Smith throws a series of punches but Chille avoids them all with ease.

Chille has managed to clinch.
Smith blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Chille lands a damaging elbow.
Chille misses with a knee strike.
Smith is trying to break free.

It looks like Chris Smith has been cut.

Chille drops Smith with a big knee straight up the middle! Smith is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Smith throws a series of punches but Chille avoids them all with ease.
No joy there for Smith, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Chille holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Chille gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Chille content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Chille gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Chille lands an elbow just above Smith 's eye.
Smith has had enough of the clinch but Chille keeps him there for the moment.

Smith is pressed against the cage. Chille pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Smith! Two more big strikes from Chille and Smith crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
