The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Benvenuti.

Blaylock throws out a loose jab but Benvenuti uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blaylock throws a shot from downtown. Benvenuti moves away and avoids it.
Benvenuti lands a nice hook to Blaylock's body. Blaylock takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Benvenuti throws a leg kick but Blaylock checks it.

Blaylock has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Beast in the buildup to the fight.
Blaylock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Benvenuti stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Benvenuti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blaylock was well out of range. Poor timing from Benvenuti.

Blaylock throws a sloppy head kick and Benvenuti moves out of range easily.
