Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arnold Schwarzenegger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evgeni Novikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Novikov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Schwarzenegger is not content to let Novikov control the position.
Schwarzenegger wants to get back to his feet.
Schwarzenegger scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Novikov manages to mount him!
Novikov working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Schwarzenegger's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Novikov swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Schwarzenegger is now in Novikov's guard. A big mistake from Novikov there, giving up the dominant position!
Schwarzenegger wants to get up but he can't break Novikov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Schwarzenegger is sitting in close to Novikov's body. Novikov has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Schwarzenegger is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Schwarzenegger is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Novikov.
