Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milan Zoranovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zoranovic counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Zoranovic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Machado looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zoranovic is fending him off so far but Machado persists. Nope, Zoranovic circles away and we're back to standing.
Machado shoots in for a double leg but Zoranovic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Machado closes the distance and clinches up with Zoranovic, looking for a takedown. Machado pushes Zoranovic against the cage but Zoranovic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Machado fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zoranovic avoids it really well and circles away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Zoranovic. Machado does a little dance to reset his feet.

Machado is pressing down on Zoranovic's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Zoranovic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Machado works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Machado has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zoranovic doesn't defend quickly enough and Machado has managed to lock this one up! Can Zoranovic escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Machado on a fantastic submission victory.

A less than humble Carlos Machado misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
