Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julian Drotski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Gavin Shamrock enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Julian Drotski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Gavin Shamrock!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shamrock tries to sprawl but Drotski drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Drotski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Shamrock doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Drotski.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drotski jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Shamrock is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Shamrock and Drotski has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Drotski goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Shamrock rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Drotski's guard! Nice work there by Shamrock!

Drotski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shamrock gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Drotski has his foot on Shamrock's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shamrock works his way back into a safe position though.
Shamrock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drotski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Drotski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shamrock is aware though and is defending well.

Drotski goes for a double leg but Shamrock avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shamrock continues to drive forward.

It looks like Julian Drotski has been cut.
Drotski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Shamrock is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A less than humble Gavin Shamrock misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
