Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Von Cloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Malmqvist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Malmqvist's choice of entrance music: Move Bitch - Ludacris. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Cloud is working an open guard so Malmqvist takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Malmqvist looks to land a combination. Cloud sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Malmqvist moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Malmqvist lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Malmqvist throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Cloud's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Malmqvist dives in looking to finish as Cloud flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Malmqvist's strikes! Malmqvist is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Cloud's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Cloud was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
