The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balov tries to keep at a distance but Parasenko has taken the fight into the clinch.

Let's hope that Parasenko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Balov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Parasenko is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Balov, into his guard.

Balov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Parasenko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Balov is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Parasenko frees his head nicely. Oh but Balov has switched to an armbar! Parasenko is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
