Godo comes into the arena with I kill cause im hungry blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez feints and then cracks Godo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Godo down.

Godo instigates a clinch.
Gomez tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Godo's elbow.
Godo lands with a right to the head.
Godo lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Godo lands a left hand.

It looks like Kosmo Gomez has been cut.
Gomez wants to stall.
Godo slows down the pace here.
Gomez tries to throw a body punch but Godo avoids it by throwing Gomez back against the cage.

Godo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gomez throws a push kick but Godo slaps the foot to one side.
A counter left hand to the body from Godo misses its target.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gomez.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gomez throws a leg kick which misses Godo's front leg but catches the back leg as Godo tries to avoid it.

Godo is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Godo lands with an overhand left.
Godo tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Gomez drives through and clinches with Godo against the cage.

Godo drops Gomez with a beautiful combination! Gomez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Godo is looking for the KO!

Godo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Godo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Gomez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Gomez rushes Godo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Godo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gomez fails in his attempt to clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gomez. That's going to slow Godo down.
Godo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gomez ducks under a wild hook from Godo.
Gomez tries to close the distance and clinch but Godo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gomez thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Godo if he has to take too many more of those.
Gomez slips a jab and a cross from Godo.
Gomez throws a leg kick but Godo sees it coming and checks it nicely.
It looked like Godo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Gomez throws a jab when Godo was well out of range.
Godo is looking to wear down Gomez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Godo clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Godo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gomez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Godo catches Gomez with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Godo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gomez swings away with a body shot that misses
and Godo counters with a stiff right hand.
Godo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Gomez tries to get into range but Godo steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Gomez! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Godo scores the big KO victory!
