The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawal lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lawal misses with a body kick.
Carbon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lawal goes for a double leg but Carbon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Carbon continues to drive forward.

Lawal fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carbon sprawls well initially but Lawal persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lawal seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Carbon is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
