Sakuraba tries to clinch up but Gunter circles away and keeps his distance.

Sakuraba breaks the clinch.
Sakuraba moves in looking to clinch but Gunter pushes him off.

Gunter drops his hands momentarily and Sakuraba takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Sakuraba pushes Gunter away with a front kick.
Gunter closes the distance and clinches up with Sakuraba, looking for a takedown. Gunter pushes Sakuraba against the cage but Sakuraba circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sakuraba is looking to clinch but Gunter is avoiding it.
Gunter should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sakuraba closes the distance and clinches.
Gunter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sakuraba smiles and moves away.

Sakuraba lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Sakuraba has Gunter up against the cage in a clinch.

Gunter fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gunter tries to pull guard but Sakuraba holds him up against the cage and eventually Gunter drops back down to his feet.

Gunter manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gunter controls Sakuraba momentarily but Sakuraba frees himself.
Sakuraba trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sakuraba would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Gunter had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sakuraba is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gunter Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sakuraba's back instead.

Gunter has got one arm under Sakuraba's chin. This could be trouble... Sakuraba trying to control the other hand but Gunter gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Sakuraba has tapped out! The fight is over!
