The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doremus fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Doremus darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Doremus shoots in but no luck this time.
Redman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Doremus tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Redman defends well and Doremus ends up having to push Redman into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It looked like Redman was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Doremus.
Doremus dives in for a single leg takedown but Redman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
