PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Boombastic (Mr Lover Lover) by Shaggy. On his way into the cage it seems that Jackson Law has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jackson Law seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Law!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Fernando Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Law throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Diaz swings for the body but Law moves out of range.

Law shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Diaz is trying to defend but Law finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Law gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Law got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Law has managed to get both his arms back between Diaz's legs - danger averted.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Law stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Law wants it to stay on the feet.

Diaz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Law to the ground. Diaz is now in Law's guard.

Law lands a few punches from side control.

Law tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Law has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Law lands a strong strike to the head of Diaz. That's dazed him! Law looking to finish here. Diaz is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Law lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jackson Law!
An out of breath and clearly excited Jackson Law thanked KAISER for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
