Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lavern Koch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cetor Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lavern Koch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cetor Green!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Green ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Green has taken the fight to the clinch.
Green looking to throw knees to the head but Koch is blocking nicely.
Green blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Green tries to pull guard but Koch holds him up against the cage and eventually Green drops back down to his feet.
Green misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Koch.
Koch is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Green to keep the fight standing.
Green creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Koch misses with a short punch on the inside.
Green has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Green working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Koch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Koch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Koch might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Green working for a triangle but Koch defends it easily.
Green bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Koch's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Green controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Koch wants to stand but Green is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Koch can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Green controls the pace.
Green's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Koch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Koch is working an open guard so Green takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Koch tries to keep at a distance but Green has taken the fight into the clinch.

Green will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Koch up against the cage.
Koch is trying to force a seperation but Green has the dominant position.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Green.
Green jumps guard but Koch stands there with Green around his waist. Green gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Koch lands an elbow that stopped Green in his tracks for a moment.

Green is working for takedown but Koch is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lavern Koch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cetor Green.
Green keeps control of Koch as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Green wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Koch just misses with a elbow thrown towards Green's brow.
Green pushes Koch back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Koch is trying to maintain a safe position but Green gets an underhook and turns Koch into the cage.
Green wants a takedown.
Green is trying to push Koch away but Koch has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Green goes for a takedown attempt but Koch pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Koch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cetor Green dominated that round.
That's time! Koch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lavern Koch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Green shoots in for a takedown but Koch shows good takedown defense.

Green drives through and clinches with Koch against the cage.
Green tries to pull guard but Koch holds him up against the cage and eventually Green drops back down to his feet.

Green has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Koch off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Green has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Koch on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Green is trying to force a seperation but Koch has the dominant position.
Green tries to score a body lock takedown but Koch shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Green wants a takedown but no success here.
Green has Koch pressed against the cage, preventing Koch from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Koch tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Green avoids it.

Green has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Koch lands an elbow inside that Green shrugs off.
Green is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Koch is defending well.
Koch has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Green avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Green jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Koch walks away with a smile on his face. Green gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Green fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cetor Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green is breathing heavily.

Green misses with a takedown attempt - Koch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Green shoots in and drives through. Koch sprawls well.
Green dives in and grabs Koch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Koch pushes down on Green's head and hops out.

Koch moves into range and clinches up with Green.
Green is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Koch to keep the fight standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Koch tries to score a body lock takedown but Green shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Green manages to pull guard.
Koch missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lavern Koch will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Green shoots in but no luck this time.
Koch looks for a takedown but Green sprawls well.
Green tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Koch defends well and Green ends up having to push Koch into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It looked like Koch was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Green darts in looking for a takedown but Koch gets double underhooks and turns Green into the cage.
Lavern Koch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cetor Green.
Green goes for a double leg but Koch avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Koch continues to drive forward.
Koch drops down looking for a counter takedown but Green sprawls and moves away.
Green throws a head kick that misses

and Koch counters by moving into the clinch.

Green is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Koch pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Green takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Koch stuffs the takedown.

Green jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Koch walks away with a smile on his face. Green gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Koch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Green sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Koch somewhat.
Green shoots in for a takedown but Koch shows good takedown defense.

Green moves into the clinch successfully.

Koch breaks from the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Koch scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Green explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

And that's the end of the fight!
Cetor Green comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
