PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hub Bubba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guillaume De Pays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Bubba had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. De Pays is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bubba Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take De Pays's back instead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Pays is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bubba gets his way!

De Pays is trying to drag Bubba to the mat but Bubba just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
