Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edu Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stu Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stu Bennett will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edu Alvarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stu Bennett!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez looks to throw the jab but Bennett is out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bennett! But no joy.
Alvarez slips under a jab from Bennett.
Alvarez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Alvarez takes a kick to the side of the head.
Bennett stuffs the takedown attempt from Alvarez. Alvarez gets slowly back to his feet.
Bennett looks to land a combination but Alvarez avoids it well.
Alvarez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bennett.
Alvarez half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Alvarez misses with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bennett takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bennett lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bennett fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Alvarez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Alvarez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bennett throws out the jab.
A counter left hand to the body from Alvarez misses its target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Alvarez. Bennett does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bennett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alvarez moves away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bennett lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Alvarez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Alvarez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Alvarez fails to land with a series of punches.
Alvarez misses with a lunging right hand
letting Bennett counter with a right hand.
Alvarez misses with an uppercut.
Alvarez ducks under a wild hook from Bennett.
Alvarez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Alvarez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bennett throws out the jab.
Good shot there by Bennett.
Alvarez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bennett's head backwards.
Alvarez swings for the body but Bennett moves out of range.
Bennett connects with a leg kick. Alvarez looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Alvarez fails with a takedown attempt.
Bennett misses with a looping right.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bennett looks to land a left hand but Alvarez moved out of range nicely.
Bennett checks a leg kick.
Alvarez lands a jab to the head.
Stu Bennett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bennett bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Alvarez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bennett connects with a nice looking jab.
Alvarez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bennett.
Bennett swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Alvarez misses with a left hand
and Bennett counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bennett walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bennett keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bennett throws a good cross that connects.


Alvarez is rocked!
Bennett flashes Alvarez a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Alvarez's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Alvarez crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Bennett punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stu Bennett!
Stu Bennett gave a mention to Sin City Allstars in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Edu Alvarez was interviewed post fight and said 'wow, just wow...'.
